2. In brief
This website uses Google Analytics only if you consent in the notice at the bottom of the page. Without your consent it sets no cookies and loads nothing from third-party servers. Fonts and images are hosted on our own web space.
3. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by CMO Internet Dienstleistungen GmbH (Germany). When the site is accessed, the server automatically stores technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted by the host after a short time.
4. Encryption
The site is transmitted exclusively in encrypted form via HTTPS.
5. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the messages once they have been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. for business letters) apply any longer.
6. Purchase via Link (Stripe)
If you click “Buy now”, you switch to the order page of Link, the payment service of the Stripe group. There you enter your data for purchase and payment; Link is responsible for this. Link's privacy policy applies. Companies of the Stripe group are also located in the USA; the safeguards that apply to a transfer there are set out in that privacy policy. So that we can provide you with the software (by email with a download link), updates and help, Stripe transmits to us your name, email address, the product purchased and the order date (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We keep this data for as long as your licence runs and tax retention periods require (up to 10 years).
7. The plugin itself
The Shoplotse plugins run in your own JTL-Shop. Data from your shop is not transmitted to us. The exception is the licence check: on activation and thereafter roughly every 30 days, the plugin sends the licence key, the address of your shop and the plugin version to shoplotse.net so that we can check that the licence is valid for this shop (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). For this purpose we store, per licence, the shop address, version and time of the last check for as long as the licence exists. You decide which data your AI assistant retrieves; the AI provider's terms apply to processing by that provider.
8. Google Analytics (only with consent)
If you click “Accept” in the notice, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies and records which pages you visit, how long you stay, where you come from, as well as device, browser and approximate location. From this we create statistics in order to improve the site. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (DSGVO), § 25 (1) TDDDG). Google may also transfer data to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The data is deleted after 2 months. We store your decision in your browser (localStorage). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. More on this in Google's privacy policy.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). A short email is sufficient. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
